If so, it could be miss-configured and that could be the cause of this issue.<ul><li>One way to troubleshoot this is to roll back to the original snapshot of the pfSense VM. &nbsp;<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul><ul><li>Verify matching networks between your pfsense and VM:<ul><li>The hardware tab network ID is the same between your pfsense and virtual machine LAN network<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"664\" height=\"353\" src=\"https:\/\/support.it.illinoisstate.edu\/kb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/Capture22.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-440\" srcset=\"https:\/\/support.it.illinoisstate.edu\/kb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/Capture22.jpg 664w, https:\/\/support.it.illinoisstate.edu\/kb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/Capture22-300x159.jpg 300w, https:\/\/support.it.illinoisstate.edu\/kb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/Capture22-250x133.jpg 250w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 664px) 100vw, 664px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><li>If you notice that your network card is highlighted in orange, this means there is a pending hardware change that requires a restart.
